first off, it's NOT a felony to write on buildings. i'm not sure if it's even a misdemeanor if it's just a temporary plywood wall. second, if they were serious/real cops they would not tell you that it was okay to write on other buildings. and third, they would NOT have arrested you for that. they would have written you a ticket if anything. my guess is that they were pathetic security guards for the construction site or building, desperately trying to justify their menial lives. *shrug*

they were full of shit! now that i think about it one was only a security guard but the other one was a real cop!
