OMG
I am definatley going to see them again and again
My seats were ok
I think the floor is highly overrated.....unless you're in the front and I was in the back, so you can't see much, but it was still awesome
There was some old ladies beside us and a crazy Asian guy in front of us, who was clapping off tune and singing off tune
Anyhoo....
It didn't take us long to get to Toronto, maybe 40 mins, parked somewhere then tried to find a place to eat
everywhere was busy and playing Coldplay
We finally found a restaurant, kinda fancy, called "Barootes" and we were like the youngest ppl in there! :-P
But it was soooooooo good
Best meal I've ever had!!! seriously
It was Chuck's second best meal
I had Fresh Atlantic Salmon, pictachio crusted with tangy dill sauce, the mashed potatoes were so yummy and it was served with baby bok chow (we think).... so good
Chuck got Ostrich medallions, And I seriously didn't believe me when he told me, but I tried it and it was good
And the service was amazing
So we got to the ACC at around 8:30, I bought a shirt and Chuck got some beer or course and then we found our seats
We got there like half way into Richard Ashcroft, he was ok
Chuck and I thought he was kind of cocky
And yea he sang "Bittersweet Symphony"
I tired to find Kendra but the reception on the cell phone wasn't great
Then Colplay went on at around 9:30
Chris came out at like 9:15 to tell us that they were filming a DVD, so that got us reved up
They opened with Square One and then Politik, which was amazing
the Lights were awesome and he was pounding so hard on the piano
Then Yellow and a bunch of huge yellow balloons came down, came so close to touching one! and Chris popped one with his guitar!
I'll try to find the setlist somewhere
The Scientist was awesome.... I can't wait for the DVD and to get my pics developed
They also did a little acoustic set and did a cover of "Ring of Fire"
And changed the words to "God put a smile upon your face" to "God gave u style and gave you power, and gave you guys the CN Tower!" and also through "The Arcade Fire" in there somewhere
They did an encore... Swallowed in the Sea then In My Place, where he ran into the audience right past us!!!! Gah, so close but I couldn't a picture because of ppl standing on their chairs! gah
and then they finished with "Fix You" where the whole audience was singing!
So awesome!!!!!
Next time they're in town, we're going to see them!! Jazz and Mommy and whoever else wants to come!!!!
I'll post my pics later!
Now it's back to reality.....
