this is a beautiful entry. I know just what you mean. I love being a woman, but I'm obsessed with the notion of becoming a man, a soldier, dying in battle for a cause, with a comrade-at-arms sort of soul mate - much less fussy than female/male romantic love (I'm with Lawrence there!)

No, I haven't read Women in Love but I remember reading what you wrote about the book in your journal entries and I told myself to read it one day. I will try to find a copy of the book this week.

Yes, give me Alexander the Great, Achilles, Augustus, Napoleon and J. Caesar over that moron. But I must say that his life was really interesting and he did some awesome things in his life time, but I just don't seem to like his personality/him as a person as much as my other heroes.
