[So all y'all gonna have a shootout huh? Well then, he needs to find a nice place to watch this. Where he won't be getting shot, preferably. He doesn't want to test this whole lack of powers thing, who knows if they took the whole 'invulnerability' thing- Oh right. He knows, because he just had to find out.

So after applying the necessary bandage to ( Read more... )

[Seems someone else had a similar idea in mind, in regards to the clock tower, and despite all his clothing and brightly colored decorations, sneaking was quite familiar to him. That didn't hide the fact he was bright white and blue in a monotone landscape, though.

Solid eyes caught glimpse of an interesting character. It look as though he is following, and perhaps he was or perhaps he wasn't. After all, he had the same destination.]

[Well, that and there was one thing the bomb didn't sap from him. Empathic senses were a joy to be sure.

Rather, it was like a small touch in the back of his mind, the knowledge that there was someone else there. Were they armed? Friend or foe? He could at least discern no immediate feeling of malice.

This only reminded him why he'd gotten that damned chip out in the first place, with human eyes he was as good as blind in comparison to how he once was. Or else he'd just know by now.

Well, may as well take a chance.]

You know, I'm not allergic to good company.

Hm hm hm. Neither am I.

[He continues to smile all the while]

Good company is so hard to come across these days due to the rising fear of being hurt. I was rather curious how long we'd be traveling together before ever speaking.

Just researched the show. Brother from another mother? jushinkan October 16 2010, 00:50:55 UTC
Shame really. What's life without a little bit of danger anyway?

Well, since we seem to be headed the same way, no reason not to make conversation. It's a lost art, really. No one talks anymore.

[The patter of tiny feet might come to Xellos' attention as Gash dashes through and around the dead trees and rubble. He's on a mission - a mission to avoid as many casualties as possible.]

Mister! ["Whooosh" straight from behind a slab comes the young demon, his arms flailing.]

You need to be inside - somewhere safe!

[Well at least he could avoid bashing Gash's head in. Soldiers tended to lack the pitter patter of tiny little feet.]

Which is exactly where I'll be in a few minutes.

[He gives an obstinate snort.]

You need to go in now! [His posture is tense, and one can faintly make out the sound of his little fangs grinding against his other teeth.]

You never know when they'll show up!

If you wait a few minutes, sure!

[Sorry, you're not high ranking enough for him to care about, Gash :<]

You're absolutely right. I guess we ought to keep our voices down, huh?

[ Speaking of alleyways, wow, it looks like there's a guy with a gun down this one! ]

[Oh lucky him! Now how much did this guy with a gun see Xellos? Because if he's looking somewhere else, Xellos is picking a different alleyway]

[ Unfortunately for Xellos, the soldier sees him out of the corner of his eye, quickly turning and shooting at him. ]

[Well damn. Thank Gods for cover, if you need him, he'll be diving for it. He'll learn to forever treasure conveniently placed dumpsters.]

How terribly brave of you, shooting at an unarmed man.

[Something he was trying to remedy here. Too bad he was lacking in the 'things that are pointy' department']

I'm sure they will be singing your praises for years to come.
