Last week was such a write off in so many respects...feeling poorly, not having my laptop, running all over...so its very nice to arrive at another Monday morning knowing my laptop is working and being well again :)
I can't wait to meet my new niece too!

Correct - back it up! :)

I use SyncBack which is a great bit of software.

Well it was backed up but I used Ghost...which is the most crap bit of software EVER....its meant to copy your entire hard drive which it did on 11 disks....but to restore ONE folder took me 2 entire days before I gave up. And that involved changing disks every 30 seconds. I thought it would be easy...but no way.

In the end I resorted to various backups that I had.....I am pretty good at backing up...and I knew if all else failed I had a hard drive with stuff on. It's all just time consuming putting all your programmes and drivers back on and resetting things like Outlook to the view you like with all your e-mail accounts etc.

It's always good to hear about something that DOES work. I will have to have a squizz at that program!
