Summary: When will Christmas be happy again?

I didn't mean to make Momma cry. Aunt Relena understands. It's just, well, Uncle Duo says Christmas used to be happy. People would decorate with lots and lots of lights and music and people would give presents to make other people happy, he says.
Christmas isn't happy. There's candles and music, but it's all sad music. Aunt Relena says it's Memorial Day, because of the War. It was a big War, before I was even born.
My Daddy was in that War. I don't quite understand, but he was actually fighting with Uncle Duo, Uncle Heero, Uncle Quatre, Uncle Trowa and Uncle Wufei and Aunt Dorothy was helping him. Uncle Duo says Uncle Wufei and Aunt Dorothy are still fighting but now they only fight with each other because they like to. Aunt Relena says Uncle Duo tells me too much.
I didn't mean to make Momma cry. We were going to the park where they would read the names of all the people who didn't come back from the War. The ones that no one knows if they died or not because they just disappeared. Disappear is like a soap bubble popping, Uncle Trowa said. But nobody saw the bubbles of these people pop and so their families don't know anything about them. They light candles for those who are still missing. Momma always lights a candle for Daddy and Aunt Relena tells everyone that their loved ones are never forgotten.
I asked Momma when Christmas was going to be happy again, like Uncle Duo says it was. Momma began to cry. We went home and I ran into my room. I didn't mean to make Momma cry. I really didn't. Aunt Relena came in and gave me a hug and said she understood and that I was a good boy. Maybe next year we can make Christmas happy again, she said and gave me a kiss
Uncle Heero hit Uncle Duo.
