getting ready [Tina's Quarters]
On one hand, Nyota couldn't believe that the Haloween party was going forward, after everything that had happened. But as she thought about it a little more, she realized that maybe a little fun, a night where (hopefully) nothing went wrong was exactly what was needed to boost crew morale.
Besides, she never could resist dressing up.
She spent the morning finishing up the loose ends of paperwork that she'd been putting off for the past few days, her costume already hanging in her wardrobe. As soon as that was done and off her mind, she could concentrate on enjoying herself. Normally she would ask her friends to her quarters, but it was their quarters now, and she didn't want to subject Spock to the idle gossip that she made with Tina as they got ready. So grabbing everything she needed, Nyota made her way to her friends room a few hours before they were supposed to be at the party.
"Alright," Nyota called through the door as she buzzed. "I have costumes, I have wine. Please, lets get this night over and done with."
