Hey anyone on my friends list,

Please could you send healing thoughts to my Welsh Springer (that's him in my icon)?  We just got back from leaving him over night at the emergency  vets.  He's on a drip and they're not sure what's wrong with him, despite having done an x-ray and taking bloods.

All healing thoughts and messages would be gratefully   ( Read more... )

What a handsome guy. I'm sending many, many healing wishes your way. I know how helpless it makes you feel when your baby is sick. Fingers crossed that you boy is back on his feet in no time.

My Mum would insist on handsome, but Phee and I are happy with either, or indeed both;)

Thank you sooo much for your wishes (and hugs, he's now at our local vets, which is about a 5-10 min walk from our house (rather than the emergency vets who are about a 30-45 min drive). He's better in himself, brighter, and walking a little, but it could be a tumor, so it will be a case of keeping him pain free, and knowing when to let go, once his quality of life is no longer real. On the other hand, he's Welsh and stubborn, and he was very ill about two yrs ago, and he made a remarkable recovery, so we'll what and see what he decides.

I read your post with photos of Mariah... aww she's gorgeous... a white German Shepperd? We've had four GSDs (not white ones though). Our oldest only lived til 11 years, so she is doing very well! :: HUGS :: you and Mariah, and your family, and I hope she improves by morning.

Healing thoughts, prayers and hugs to you and yours,

Andrea (A.J) and Phoenix

Hi again, I am very happy to hear about Phoenix, I hope he gets to come home soon, Hospital stinks, I would imagine even more so for a pet then a person. I have noticed the Welsh can be pretty stubborn so in situations like this that is a good thing. I hope it's not a tumor, one of our Goldens (Cassie) had a horrible one on her chest, but she was to old to be able to do surgery and expect her to live through it. Lucky it started out small and so we had time with her before it was to big for her to be happy anymore and we had her put down last May, she was 15 ( ... )

Thank you, it means a lot to us. He's doing better, but as you can see in my previous comment, he's not out of the woods yet. Will give him his hug tomorrow, when we go to see him and the vet.

Thank you :: hugs ::

Here's hoping he can pull another miracle out of his gorgeous Welsh stubbornness, and stay with us a while longer.

Will update on his progress tomorrow afternoon/evening.
