I know I shouldn't be hopeful...but I am. It would probably be one of the most insane thoughts ever, but it's hounded me for so long. It's something I've honestly and truly longed for.

I seem to have singed my bedroom again. At least I didn't flare up the entire thing this time. My possessions seem to have made it through unscathed...except for that chair in the corner. I never liked that chair anyhow.

Apparently certain people find it irritating if you lean against the bathroom door and loudly sing to them as they're taking a shower.

What an interesting few days its been. Enjoyable...unexpected...slightly taunting, but not unappreciated. I shall savor it.

Jalireth gave me a Christmas gift yesterday. To say that I was absolutely in shock from the action would be a complete understatement. No one has ever simply given me a gift before. On top of that, it was a wonderfully useful gift.

Now that I have been thoroughly examined and it has been declared that I am officially cootie-free. Apparently this is a big deal. I wouldn't want to be a traitor.

Solis is seriously one of the most brilliant children I've ever had the pleasure of meeting in my life. She's so smart and talented already, not to mention sharp as a tack.
