Blue-grey eyes, revealed by lifting lids, she awoke from slumber. Aeryn turned on her side slightly, to watch the other woman through sleep-hazed lashes. It was getting to be a familiar thing, the comfortable bulk beside her. She didn't mind in the slightest. A sleeping Plourr was much quieter than a waking one. Cute too, she observed with a wry

A sleeping Plourr is undoubtedly quieter than an awake one. Though a sleeping one tends to steal blankets and kick.

She is doing neither at the moment. She is, however, still dead to the world, one arm dangling limply over the side of the bed.

Perhaps a knee nudged gently against her leg, wondering if the sleeper would react to the movement.

Plourr will sleep like the dead-- until she's touched.

Her head snaps up off the pillow, and she stares at Aeryn with wild, uncomprehending eyes for a moment before she wakes up, realizes who she's looking at and where she is.

And now her eyes are just uncomprehending. As in, 'why did you wake me up?' uncomprehending.

"Afternoon." A soft smile unfolded, as the Peacekeeper rearranged her dishevelled hair; the better to pillow on, my dear.

Plourr's expression wasn't quite angry and Aeryn was perhaps foolishly brave. So she continued to smile, feeling utterly relaxed.
