Long story short, it seems to have been a ...punishment... for a prank on Ryuuzaki-sensei. Then Kabaji confessed to the crime (whether he really did it or not is up for debate) and the snow was cleared.

Is it bad I almost wish Kabaji hadn't confessed, so I could've come back and melted it all for everyone? XD;;

Honey, unless you've gained an enormous amount of control and have been keeping it secret, I'm pretty sure you'd have done more harm than good. Besides....even with better control....it would take a lot more than a glance, and there'd be no poofing.
