Ok this is a plot I came up with but have had little sucesss with so maybe you can do better?

Ianto is about to ask Jack a vital question to shift the level of their relationship though Jack leaves at the last minute to catch up with the Doctor. He comes back and Ianto refuses to speak to him...though with input from Gwen which makes him speak to Ianto Jack is made to choose.....him or the Doctor.
