Echoes of heart's desire. No pain, no gain. Torture endured to hold that Holy Grail.
Already having tasted the blessed waters, Renewed, given life, Old dark places Having the Light of God shone into them.
That which is sleeping is awakened: My most beloved beast With the most voracious appetite For a most specific nourishment.
The Grail tips to my lips only when my thirst is greatest Keeping my hope alive when need might otherwise Drive me to find a creek or spring of brown and brackish water That, at the very least, will not be held in the hands of another.
And between sips, I waste away. As the beast is slowly dying, Rapidly weakening, I see, Only its death can set me free.
this made me cry i don't like it "we can still be taken aback from the ferocity " no nono nonononono. harsh so harsh there is always so much room for human spirit to stop weather altogether
often, it depends on the spirit in question, and even more often, it depends on the weather. more specifically, it depends on if the weather in question is controlled by, or even is, another human spirit.
