I have nothing to say here. You've said anything I could. I think we have the same eyes.

Classic air vs. fire perspective.

Incredibly amusing. In a number of ways.

You need to look to the sky. You're staring at the ground. You probably have been for a long time now.

Pain can become glorious, and your greatest potential for strength can be found easiest when you are at your lowest.

Chemical burn.

Given the things that I have recently experienced there is no way I could not comment on this.

yet do they not realize that to hold back such acceptance of their possible "failures" is to guarantee pain?

No, apparently not. It's difficult to know that there are people who deny their own potential, and even more so if those people refuse to offer a hand and an embrace when it is so freely offered to them. They could be equal, they simply choose not to be; believe themselves not to be. It brings tears to the eyes and an ache to the heart to know that they suffer alone and isolated, blind to the wonder that surrounds them. And that they are forever denied to you because of it.

"perhaps it is in this sense that we are all Sinners;
perhaps we need to learn to forgive ourselves our trespasses"

I fucking LOVE that.
You are amazing.

in terms of love only being possible between equals..I have to agree and disagree. Yet I would like to know what you define as being equal. For example, I love my sister with all of my being, yet she is only 5. Most would not define us as equals, being that she still requires much care by me. Does this mean she does not love me, and I do not love her? Certainly not. There are so many different types and levels of love that it seems strange to say that love is only possible between equals.
i would elaborate more , but I am tired and should go to bed. perhaps you will enlighten me.

thank you.

as for being equal, what would make you think that something as silly as age alone could cause something such as inequality, especially on a level such as love? love surpasses age just as it surpasses any other affliction of the flesh. it is love's very intangibility which is it's greatest strength, and simultaneously, opens it up to it's greatest abuses.
