You didn't do this to her. You were trying to help her get rid of her cancer. You were trying to keep her teeth healthy. Everything you have done has been in her best interests. You're fighting for her little, precious life.
You are taking amazingly good care of this cat.
I hope Tweak takes a turn for the better soon. And rather than feeling sad that you have to give her medicine she doesn't like, console yourself with the knowledge that you are doing absolutely everything you can to help her get better.
I was going to say something, but someone already beat me to it. So read that comemtn again and believe it. You are doing all you can for her and she knows it deep in her little kitty soul.
It is never easy to lose a pet- they become so much of our lives, "pet" just seems too trivial a word. And don't be afraid to make the difficult decisions coming to you. You have done all that was in your power to do, and there comes a time when we can do no more. Nothing lives forever, but please take comfort in the absolute knowledge that you loved Tweak and took care of her in the very best way you could and gave her a life and love that no one else could: yours.
Awwww, I'm sorry. Poor kitty. *hugs* I hope she pulls through.
That's what happened when I had taken my one cat in for surgery to have tumors removed. She had done fine for about two weeks and then stopped eating. When I had taken her in some tumors had come back. Broke my heart. Had her put down because she had lost too much weight and all I was doing wasn't enough. I know where you are and what you're trying to do is making sure she's comfortable.
Many wishes and please don't think that you did anything wrong. (Been there) You just want your cat to be well. *hugs*
