So first of all...I started off the summer with about 30 tadpoles..
gave 6 to the kids who home school up the street.
gave 4 to my little cousins zack and ty.
put 8 in my pond..
and the rest are growing up in an aquarium in my room..
these little guys have completely baffled me..
I've done a shit load of research online and still can't figure out what type of frog they are..
they are less than a cm in size and are climbing the glass walls in the aquarium..
a type of toad is therefore ruled out of possibilities..
they are frogs.
so if anyone could identify these little guys for me it would be awesome..
This was the first of my tadpoles to turn into a froglet <3 thats my pinky finger he's sitting on.
Close up of my first baby..
Then they started crawling out of the water everywhere...the little one on the left still has is tail <3
2 days later..3 more kids out of the water <3
Doin some grubbage ..
The latest froglet to morph...he's a dark one <3
And in other News....
I've been watching these babies since they were eggs..the momma robin loves our trumpet vine and builds her nest in the same place every year.
And..this baby has been chillin in our back yard for the past week..I suppose the mother trusts us enough to leave her baby here each day..she's the sweetest most adorable thing ever..and momma ate out of my hand the other day..hopefully we're making a bond <3
the end.
