Charlie and I just bought a totally rad upright bass. I haven't been this excited about an instrument in a while-we're both really excited to learn to play :)

are you in the area? if we started up Rocky Horror as a semi-regular (like once a month) cast in Beacon, would you be interested in joining in?
Also, Rocky Horror is playing at the Howland Cultural Center in Beacon next tuesday... wanna come in costume with us?
Tue - Oct 07 8:00 PM - 10:00 PM Rocky Horror Picture Show October is Halloween month and Movies At The Howland is screening "The Rocky Horror Picture Show", the all time cult classic film directed by Jim Sharman and starring Tim Curry, Susan Saradon, Barry Bostwick, Meat Loaf, and some of the smoothest transvestites this side of Transylvania. Come in costume, bring some friends, and do the "Time Warp" at the Howland as newlyweds Brad and Janet are beguiled by the deliciously evil Dr. Frank-N-Furter. The fun starts at 8:00.

We're on Long Island, but Charlie's brother lives right on Main St in Beacon, so we go up there enough I could do once a month.
