Aw, I'm sure your cake isn't that bad! I can't even make Jell-o or the fast-power-at-first-brownies-that-you-just-add-water without messing it up :( I put in to much water and when put into the oven it freaked out because there was a toaster in there *cough* Anyway, I'd eat it ^_^ (your cake I mean :D)

One time I was in a cake decorating class, and it was a total disaster! At least I'm not the only one though *huggles*
