How cold is it??

It is so cold out today* that even my adventure kitty does not want to go outrside. I just opened the door without hooking her up. She stood at the threshhold of the door, with the bitterly cold wind blowing in her face....... shook her head twice, and turned to go to the kitchen (backdoor) so she could go downstairs exploring there instead.
