i have had a 10gallon aquarium now for a few years. i had them on and off growing up but a few years ago i decided i wanted to get back into it. it has changed and morphed over time and gone through a few massive epidemics of ick that wiped out the population. right now it is doing failry well. it has 2 african dwarf frogs, 2 gupies, a kuli loach ( Read more... )

I am soooo jealous! I tried to start a 45 gallon tall tank and my landlord freaked! No tank of that size on a third floor...bump that! So now I have a lowly 10 gallon and two currently empty 2.5's. I gotta get bettas for them.

see K has been talking about wanted to find a new appt but I am affraid that we would be able to find one that will let me keep the tank.

our roommate/landlord now freaked a little bit and its on the ground floor. i probably should have not told her that the damned thing probably weights in at 650lbs(including the stand) but that is my own fault.

to prove that the floor wouldnt cave in I made all 4 of us stand in the spot the tank would go and jump up and down at the same time. and then i was like look see the floor didnt cave in- itll be fine.
