First Class

Had my very first graduate class today. Everything was great until we broke into groups. the class only has 11 ppl in it and I would say that a good 4 of them seem to be completely miserable.

the Prof. proposed shortening the class by a week, by lengthening 7 of the 12 classes by a half hr. i am all for it because Im gonna miss the last week

If transgendered isn't the accepted label, what would be?

transgender. i posted to the ftm community and some one cited the glaad website where they say that transdengered is gramatically incorrect and probably came about because of mispronounciations. but then someone else pointed out that it still gets used almost interchangably within the community so its not clear to the outside world.

i had just not heard the word or seen it in print in quite some time and was curious whether or not it was still acceptable.
