ORDERED :)

I gonna (maybe) buy this TV.

Not bad for under £300... Any thoughts?

Decent kit for the price however based on its resolution its not true 1080i (1920x1080). This panel is 1366x768 and will scale down the image to fit. 720p still looks kickass though!

I also digg the "Soft picture and no harm to your eyes" feature on the specs list. I hope my screen have this as after all these years, I could be in deep trouble!

I was thinking that, but if you read the 2nd review down

http://www.ebuyer.com/product/134824/show_product_reviews?offset=80&review_type=both&review_order_by=RUF

That guy is running his PS3 at 1080i and it's working fine :s

Guess i'll find out tomorrow.

I hope there "Soft picture and no harm to your eyes" isn't just a cheap way of saying the picture is dull, lol.

The PS3 may well be sending out 1080i signal but the panel will downscale it and convert to 720p. Without this, you can imagine the problems people would get with incompatible h/w!

Let us know how it fares! What are you planning on running through it?

ummm... interesting... tho just paying extra for the name me thinks.

I do like ebuyer customer services and their TV has freeview built in (saving on space, energy and remote controls).
