A quick update on things.

I've been busy for a number of reasons.  Mostly, it's worrying about and taking care of my husband, who is clearly having cognitive problems and may be in the early stages of dementia.  It's been really up & down with him and uses up most of my time.

I'm so sorry about your husband. I'm glad you found Jaffar.

I feel for Sean. I would have hated to move. Are there friends or relatives he could stay with while he finishes school?

Thank you. Jaffar had me worried! No more going out for him!

I feel very bad for Sean because it's not that he isn't wanted here. It's better for him to be with young people, I believe. However, I don't want him to be torn from his friends. There is one more year of high school, at which time one's friends usually disperse. Then he can go.

He could stay with my son Jamie and his girlfriend, but he'd have to commute to school. It's possible but not too practical.

Looking after a friend's kitties for a week has taught me that cats can be sneaky when it comes to escaping. I'm glad you were able to entice him back.
