Your son's fiance is very fortunate to have someone who loves her enough to rescue her. I understand that feeling they don't need meds is a common occurrence for people with bp so I hope her medical advisers manage to get her back on track.

Oh dear - your poor son. Well done to him for passing his exams in the middle of the hassle. It must be so hard to see someone you love going to pieces like that because she isn't taking her meds. As Elwen said, and I am sure you know only too well, deciding to come off medication because you are sure that you don't need it seems to be a major symptom of having bi-polar disorder.

I hope your daughter and her husband find somewhere that is right for them with minimal difficulty.
