traveling during the pandemic is not all fun and games

We considered ourselves to be fairly lucky so far during this epidemic. My husband and I are both retired, on pensions, and are not at all concerned about being in self-isolation for the duration. It's still sad that you couldn't have your daughter and her family with you. Sure, other people might have it a lot worse, but I imagine it still hurts. *hugs*

Yes, Manitoba has shut down anything that isn't deemed essential. (drugstores, grocery stores, liquor store (hmmm..), etc remain open.). I personally agree with it. I think we were late on the ball.
My sister lives in Toronto. I have to admit, I was disgusted by Ford until recently. He seems to be doing a very good job of managing the pandemic. Our premier, Pallister, is elitist: We are the only province with no income supports other than the federal ones. Ugh.
Anyway, hope you're staying occupied! My sister went to corner stores for TP and said she had better luck there.
