The sun came out for a bit, when I drove René to class. I can also say that the whole fog-peeking-between-mountains thing is nice. It's quite picturesque out here. I'm pissed that I didn't remember my camera for the drive ( Read more... )

The downside - people move with no sense of purpose.

Or, they enjoy where they live and want to take in the beauty of it all at every moment.

When they walk around, it's like they've got nowhere to go and all of the time in the world to get there.

Or, they're in no rush to get where they are going because then they'll be missing out on the beauty of the surroundings.

I can tell that you have no idea how to live in California! :-)
