  • So - a few weeks ago I graduated from college..finally, 25 years after I graduated from high school.  Since I did online classes through a university in Phoenix, AZ my family held a little surprise, silly ceremony for me at home.  Pictures of which are on my facebook.  Hilarity and silliness ensued and I felt like a complete dork, but there were ( Read more... )

Okay - how did I miss that you graduated?!?! (Or did I know and now have already forgotten?) Karyn, that's AWESOME!!!! And your dad's gift - totally cool =)

Are you kidding me? 3 days to sew and not have to stop for someone playing with your sewing machine or needing a cup of juice or refusing to sleep or needing to eat or, or, or... sounds LOVELY!!! Enjoy!

Thanks! I am sure I did'nt post the grad thing here...although my daughter put some really unflattering pics of me on FB at a "home ceremony" they had for me...it was fun, but completely embarrassing.

Yes - I'm looking forward to the 3 days away and the location is great too!

1. Thanks!

2. Yeah, not thinking! They were trying to reinact this "beach" party we had in 1983 where all this sand was brought into our school and it was this wild and fun party. But, hello, my body of 1983 is WAY different than my body of 2009. No way!

3. Ducks, ducks and more ducks! It really is a sight to see.

4. Yes - I have several quilts that I am going to be working on so I'm excited about the time away!

Congrats on graduating!

Your poor co-worker. I know she must be beside herself with worry.

The get-away sounds wonderful!

Thanks

She really is. I think she's going to go to where he's staying on Saturday and see if she can talk to him. As of now his phone isn't accepting calls from her phone and the woman he is staying with has recently called the police on my co-worker claiming she is stalking him...um, no!

Yes - I am expecting FUN!

LOL, thanks. I'm kind of a behind-the-scenes-celebrator. I guess because it's so far after graduating HS that it's somewhat embarrassing it took me so long to do it.
