Yeah, alchemy. It's a science base on the basic law of equivalent trade. If you want to gain something, you have to give up something of equal or greater value. And a thing's value is based quantitatively, along the laws of conservation of mass and energy.
What I can do with it is change the basic arrangement of particles. I can turn a tree into a chair in seconds, for a basic example.
But... yeah. Doing anything to the human body is not only extremely difficult but also qualifies under human transmutation which is not only illegal, but dangerous enough to kill the alchemist.
Glad to see he's had that effect on you. You can never sacrifice a person's life, even for your work. It's not worth it. And if that's what they're doing to us, then we need to find a way teach them otherwise.

About time.
Well, lessee. From here, I have to say...priority one would beeee...the outside contact, food, uh...
Escape is kind of secondary. Survival comes first. Same old wheel, just spinning in the wind.

But you don't sound too good.

[He chuckles dryly]
Need help down there? How you been?

You mean like how my friend can adjust the molecular level of human anatomy to remake lost organs? Only in a more general sense?

Trust someone enough that while you work on something Fletcher can be elsewhere.
...*pause*...
I don't mean me, I don't babysit. But pick a place he can be, and have it elsewhere from whatever 'dangerous thing' you work on.

I'm also way ahead of you on that one. And if you think I'm going to say where, you can just step away from this post.

It's more fun to work it out for myself.
I get so very bored.
Well, I'm glad Fletcher has a better chance of not dying when you eventually get yourself killed. *giggle*

Teach them either through a punch to the face or by proving them wrong. The punch might be more satisfying.

Doing both might be even better. But you'd have to find them if you want to punch them. Think you could do that?

Depends on how close I get. I owe them a few for the nightmares Fletcher's had.
