" - and that was, what - Wednesday?"

"Yeah. I don't know what he told that cop, but I'm really hoping that they don't just show up at my door to arrest me, or something. My mom would shit." Jordan really hoped that nothing would happen. He actually felt kind of weird about what had happened that day. Why would the cop just let them go? Did Dennis - ? Nah.

"Yeah, she'd probably really freak if you told her who Dennis really is."

"Not gonna happen." Jordan shook his head. "We're over. Nothing to tell now."

"Jeez." Aiden exclaimed. "No, you guys will probably get back together. And you're technically an adult, anyway."

"Yeah dude, but I'm his student. Abuse of power or - "

"You've been doing your research?"

"Shut up." Jordan whacked at Aiden but he jumped away. "I'm just saying; we're one hundred percent over."

Aiden hummed.

"So, what did you and Bryan get up to yesterday? You didn't make it to class, again. Which you should. You don't have to follow him everywhere, you know."

"Well, yeah I kinda do. But, uh - nothing. Same, um - work thing party." His ears were turning pink.

"Oh, dude."

"What?"

"Did you - sleep with him?"

--

"Hey, Vincent."

Vincent turned around to see Marcus jogging up beside him. He looked around for Nate. The two were always together since Nate and Jerome's break-up. "Hey. Where's Nate?"

"Aw, you're not happy to see me?"

One thing that was Vincent’s 'Not To Do' list, was to forgive and forget with Marcus. But he wasn’t into conflict - well, only the internal kind - so he smiled, widely. Warily. "Of course I'm happy to see you. It really sucks that we all don't hang out anymore."

"Yeah. I feel bad about that. Like it's all my fault."

Marcus didn't sound sorry, and it really was his fault. Kind of. But deep down Vincent was glad the two of them weren't affected by it. Maybe if Marcus and Nate weren't going out -

"Which is why I want to let Jerome know I'm really sorry. Do you think it would be cool if I sat with you guys at lunch? Nate says he has to finish an assignment before next period."

Vincent was pretty sure that Jerome would want to kick Marcus's ass if he got anywhere near him, but if things got tense, Vincent would mediate. "Yeah. Okay, sure." He agreed, brightly.

They got in line at the school-made food shop. Vincent almost always ate there since they had the most healthy food. He grabbed a plain salad, hearing his mom's voice telling him to eat healthy. But it was really his voice and the close proximity to Marcus that made him bypass the bread and sweets.

"Hey, don't you like this?" Marcus set a chocolate pudding cup on Vincent's tray. A flirtatious grin on his face.

And even though he knew going down this road would be self-destructive, he couldn't help the butterflies in his stomach as his hands brushed Marcus's.

Spenser was In the cafeteria again, hoping to catch Andrew this time. He hadn't left a message when he'd called to both Andrew's cellphone and his house phone last night. But he had let it ring a lot. No text message either to incriminate him with later. What would he say anyway? "I have quite a few questions about sex that I am sure you be able to help me out with. You know, since you dated Casey Kim." Probably wouldn't have been a smart idea.

He passed Casey's table where Brian Trevor and Aiden were already seated. No one paid attention to him except Aidan - whose gaze he caught but couldn't stand all the pity there - so he quickly looked away. He checked out Vincent and Marcus chatting happily at the same table as Matt and Jerome. Spenser guessed everything was all good with that group again. Even though he could tell Jerome was extra grumpy.

But that left him with no one, really. So he finally decided on sitting at the table with a group of guys he was in math club with. Everything was back to normal, he guessed.

He half expected the guys to say something like: "oh, now we're good enough for you?" But the first question was: "so, how was it?"

--

"Okay, guys I know there might be some distractions you're facing. Partying, girls and what not." The coach had decided that since they had less than twenty-four hours untill game time, that they needed some sort of pep talk.

Andrew didn't know what every guy on the team was like, but he knew that: yes, they had always been at Casey's place chugging beer with everyone else, and most of the guys were dating each other so, no to the girls.

"I just want you guys to know that even though there will be a scout at the game, no pressure, that you guys will only be young once, so enjoy it while last, and have a good time out there." He continued "Okay, now let's get back to practicing."

Everyone broke off to put water bottles and towels on the side of the gym. Andrew pulled his phone out of his backpack, habitually there was one message - from Spenser Lee.

I need to talk to you. When are you free?

It must be about his problem. Andrew heard the rumour about Spenser having sex with Aiden. It was all over the school. He had to admit that he was a little bit disappointed in the guy. Especially after Andrew had told him that he didn't need to have sex to get a guy to be with him. Where had it gotten Spencer anyway? Aiden wasn't going out with him, he was going out with Brian Trevor. Andrew didn't want to get involved anymore. If Spenser didn't know right from wrong, he should probably talk to his parents; or the pastor.

He tossed his phone back into his bag, took a big gulp of water, and headed back onto the court. He had his own problems to worry about.

--

Aiden was super happy that it was just the three of them tonight. Casey's boy-toy was mysteriously MIA and both Brian and Spenser were at a student council meeting, getting everything prepared for the basketball game. Brian was bugging him about going to Casey's without him as if Spenser would somehow end up getting over there. He's here with you. Right there, see. Aiden had reminded him.

Bryan Trevor had started being cuter, sweeter and more attentive like a boyfriend each day. Although Aiden could really see it more after they had sex. He wanted to believe it wasn't only an act, but he wasn't sure.

"So, are you guys an actual couple now? He was so clingy today. Holding your hand and talking in that syrupy voice. I really wanted to vom." Casey sneered.

"Very unlike Brian. Or, wait. He did use that voice with me when he wanted something." Jordan added.

That hurt a little. Aiden had almost forgotten that Brian had dated Jordan. But how could he forget. He'd done all the legwork there. "I don't know - more sex?" He shrugged.

"Ugh." Jordan rolled his eyes.

"What?" Casey shrieked. "You guys fucked? When? Where? Why wasn't I the first to know?"

Aiden held out his hands. "I told Jordan, at least."

"So he knew before me?"

"I didn't see you until lunch and then Brian was with us so I couldn't exactly brag about it then."

"Oh, brag?" Casey's light eyes lit up. "Was there something to brag about? Was it everything fifteen year old Aiden fantasized about?"

Aiden cringed. "I don't know, I don't really want to - "

"C'mon man, you've been jacking off to the idea for years. I know cause you've told us way too many times."

"Yeah, don't hold out on us. I want to know if he fucks all gentle like in 'Second Symphony' or wild like in 'Twice a Cowboy'."

"Casey, you guys would never have even seen those movies unless it was for me. Maybe you should guess." Aiden smirked. He'd force them to watch Bryan's entire filmography. Including the independent shit that was almost impossible to find. "I could leave it up to your imaginations, since you've both seen the movies."

"Challenge accepted. Me first." Casey sat up straight on the sofa and turned the TV to mute. "Okay. It goes like this."
