Writing, reading, thinking fan fiction vs. PTSD

Having come through what I can only dramatically describe as 'the closest thing to the hell that put me there in the first place', I'm back home.  I plan to stay at home, hold tightly to whatever passes for my sanity with everything I've got.  So how, you ask, am I going to do that? Sometimes, for me, knowing that I'm not alone is what gets me out of bed in the morning. Hold on tight to the fact that you aren't alone, and your sanity will kinda tag along for the ride. As for courage, you've got a ton of it already- spent a full day at home, didn't you?

Pat yourself on the back, and tell Miranda to bloody-well do what you tell her to... or else you'll dress her in Levis and a lumberjack shirt, boots by Caterpillar, bag by Carrimor, and you'll stick her out on Route 66 with her thumb in the air. (Trucker stops, whistles out the window, and says things about 'hot mommas'). She'll behave, I'm quite sure ;)
