Reception: Open RP

As you enter the reception hall for Annie and Frank's wedding you are going to notice three things.

1.) The beautiful and crisp decor, green and white were the colors that Annie and Frank chose for their wedding and it definitely suits them. The hall is bright and cheerful and yet soothing all the same time, it's going to be hard to feel bad in this

Well.

He can't eat. He can't drink. But he can poke at the green bouquet that sits in the center of his table and look around, mildly awed.

He's never been to a wedding before, let alone officiated. It's all a bit surreal.

"Jono!" Carter exclaims and bolts over to where the brooding Englishman sits, scrambling up onto the chair next to his and hugging him happily. "Hi! Did you see the cake? Mom says it's chocolate!"

*Yer mum has good taste. Or Frank. I guess both, really.*

He hugs the little tyke back, grinning.

*You 'aving fun, then? Yer mum is really happy.*

"Jean-Paul's sister made it, it's really fancy looking." He says and gives the older boy a loud kiss before sitting down next to him.

"I'm having more fun now that Mom let me change into sneakers, those fancy shoes hurt after a while."

[just_nurseannie]

"You better not be getting drunk already." Annie scolds him playfully as she comes up behind him at the bar, laughing at the way he freezes ever so slightly before turning to face her.

She laughs and kisses him back, "Thank you. I feel beautiful, and I can't get over how handsome Frank looks in that suit." She fans herself as she orders a glass of white wine from the bartender.

"I really am a sucker for a man in a suit...."

He's so happy himself for the two. She's beautiful, and he's handsome and Thackery keeps breaking into tears, he floated around chatting and hanging around keeping his husband and check and having a couple of drinks, not too many though as he balanced his kid around in one hand and of course had to drive her home after all was said and done. He was stuffing both his and Mya's face when he spotted Annie, the blushing bride, and of course had to make a beeline towards her to give her his congratulations!

Annie and Thackery share a very unique bond; the bond of being able to juggle jobs, kids, friends and all of life's troubles. It's something she values and loves about him, so when she spots him making his way towards her she does her own juggling act, grabbing two drinks from the bar and chair for him to set Mya down in should he need to.

"Sweetie! Hi!" She says and embraces him, giving his and Mya's cheek a kiss. "I'm so glad you all came!"

Thackery gave her the biggest of hugs. It was about damn time really, and the whole thing had been so beautiful. Truly beautiful, he teared up just a bit as they hugged but managed to wipe them away when they parted pretty quickly. "Look at you! You're glowing! I'm gonna need sunglasses if this goes on any more."

He is thankful for the chair and plops Mya inside of it with a thank you. She might be a little too small for it but she's gotten good at sitting on her knees at tables. She's getting too big for words lately. "We're really glad you had us, Mark is around somewhere, probably flirting with that cute little bridesmaid of yours.

"I keep trying to not to smile but it's kind of hard." She says as they hug, wiping at her own tears. "I'm just so happy!"

She laughs at the mention of her bridesmaid and hands Thackery his drink. "Well he better not flirt too much with her, that's my new step-daughter and Frank is more than a little protective of her."

It's been a whirlwind of a day, but after exchanging pleasantries with just about everyone, Frank finds a glass of champagne and a pillar to lean against as he just takes a breath and lets it all sink in.

Naturally his gaze falls on Annie, looking utterly beautiful in her dress as she talks and laughs with Jean-Paul. My wife, he thinks, and smiles to himself. He knows their life together will be nothing but wonderful, for years to come.

Jeanne-Marie hasn't spent much time with Frank and Annie but what she knows about them is encouraging, Annie seems to have become Jean-Paul's best friend and almost mother figure and every time she speaks to either of them she likes them more and more. She is however still a little shy, so she cautiously approaches Frank. Not wanting to bother him on his special day.

"Frank?" She says, and smiles at him. "I just wanted to say congratulations."

Frank smiles broadly. "Hello Jeanne-Marie. Thanks so much for coming. I wanted to thank you for the cake. Everyone's been telling me how beautiful - and tasty - it is."

She smiles and tucks a strand of hair behind her ear, "Oh merci. I'm so glad that you two were happy with it, I was worried that it wasn't going to match your flower arrangements for a while there."

"The whole wedding was lovely by the way, you two look very happy together."

Doug isn't quite sure why he's here, other than his roommate Jean-Paul had insisted he come, and mentioned something about free food. So here he is, and oh boy, what food.

"Ey mufumphuf!"

Doug swallows.

"Hi Jean-Paul. This food is really good. Um. So who are these people again?"
