Why is it in our society that we will celebrate the hanging of another human being like it's an amazingly, wonderful thing to kill someone. Yes, he did horrible things, but people do horrible things all the time. We don't hang them and then have celebrations after they are hanged. He deserved punishment and I'm not denying that, but where are our ( Read more... )

Just to clarify...I totally understand why some are celebrating this and my frustration isn't aimed at them (those who view this as closure to the horrible things that were done to their families). To be honest, my frustration is aimed at Christians who have not been personally touched by this who are celebrating his death. As Christians we are called to be set apart and I don't think that by joining in on this "celebration" we are living up to that calling.
