Gaila got the codes from the Ensign for N's room, and headed there to clean, rest, and most of all see N, because N would tell her what to do. She found N's room, and punched the codes in on the door, which slid open to admit her.

Uhura glanced up from her PADD as the doors opened, shifting up from her laying position on the bed. Immediately she moved to switch off the holo, rubbing the heel of her palm against her eyes. "Hey," she smiled softly, jumping up from the bed to embrace Gaila tightly. "God, I'm so glad you're here."

As she hugged Gaila, Uhura was overwhelmed by the desire to slide her hands further down, dig her fingertips into the warm emerald of her skin--

She cleared her throat awkwardly, trying to bury those thoughts. It wasn't like she didn't know Gaila was gorgeous - she had lived with her for four years. But those thoughts were highly inappropriate. She pulled back, gripping her lightly by the shoulders.

"Sleep," she nodded, smoothing back her ruby hair with a soft smile. "That's all you can do right now G."
