It's most likely fallout from our divorce I would guess. I'm sorry. I really do wish that you could be spared from additional pain. I'm sure it was hard enough to make the decision, let alone live with the results.

For whatever it's worth, I really do hope we can remain friends on the other side of all this. Yes, I was (and still am) angry at the how, but for as much as I tried to hate you, I cannot. You're still a bear and that's just all there is to it.

We were good friends before the stupid mistake of getting married, maybe with that little detail removed, we can find a way back to friendship. At least I hope so. But then again, I would hope you knew that by now.
