I'm still in shock, and I need your help. A long time friend went in for surgery last week on her neck, and something went terribly wrong. She's in ICU, and might be paralyzed from the chest down. Permanently. She needs your thoughts, prayers, and support. Her name is Jeanne

i'm sorry this is such a late comment but how is she doing? her and her son? well, i hope..

she's stabilized, but still paralyzed. she and her family are all close by, so they're helping her and her son get used to this new horrible world. She was very overweight, but active in boy scouts with her son, so I'm sure this is a terrible blow to her world.
