You're trying to get in all of those last minute memorable events so that you aren't only looking back on conversations you've had but the actual effort to see each other, I think. I agree that Myspace comments and shit aren't "important" but at the same time really; most people do get effected by that; especially if you aren't exactly pleased/confident in friendships as is, a stupid comment on myspace from someone you love just saying hi or rekindling an inside joke really could mean the world. it seems to be more about the action than the thought behind it; because a lot of the times we need to be reminded.
