God, your flights there and back sound NIGHTMARISH, and all that stress about Griggs too. Still I'm very glad he's okay and you, Krisser and Metabolick had all that Pros-y fun together. One day it will be so nice to TALK Pros instead of TYPE Pros to like-minded people! I shall probably pass out from the sheer pleasure of it..( so July 17th and counting:))

They were nightmarish, yes! But in between, and once I knew Griggs was okay, it was magic... And yes, July 17! It's up on the CQ site, and I keep meaning to make an official announcement, but I haven't done it yet. So make your plans - I will not rest until I see you there! I think you will find that you love it. :-)

And I will return your wonderful email very soon - sometimes I like to let things sit and percolate before I write back, but it was just great to hear from you, and so nice of you to write, and you will be hearing from me! :-)

I've been reading escapade con reports like they were life's blood, so thank you for adding yours to the mix!

The partner and I will be at con.txt now, definitely. Must have my fix for the year, you know?

Every time I saw you at Escapade, you were hanging around the elevators on the first floor. I don't think I saw you anywhere else.

And, yes, we did sign up for con.txt, as promised. The partner chick (aka batdina) demanded her slash con fix for the year.

I know, I didn't see you anywhere else either. Well, except Sunday. It feels like I saw more people those few hours at the elevator than the entire rest of the con.

I noticed you two signed up for con.txt (I handle all the online registration, so nothing slips by me ;-), and I'm absolutely thrilled - can't wait to see you!

It was a wierd con for me - I didn't get to spend any time at all with some of my usual crowd.

Weird for me too. Really fun, but very different from usual. Perhaps it was an aberration.
