I have not posted in forever, and I keep not posting because I keep thinking, my first post in forever has to be *important*. But with that as my standard I'm never going to post ever again - the longer I wait the higher the threshold of importance will become

Well, lucky for me he doesn't have a particularly long memory! Some horses never, ever forget - ten years later they go back and won't go anywhere near the scary geranium spot - but he's a typical warmblood: once it's over, he moves on, especially if he has something else to focus on, like his stomach. It's like - Hmm, better watch carefully in case the geranium moves again... Oh look - grass! Geranium - what geranium? Where? When? You must have me confused with some other horse...!! *g*

Which doesn't mean he won't spook at the petunias next time... :sigh: You just can never, ever predict - the huge tractor comes roaring and rumbling by and they don't even blink, but they see a funny shadow in the grass, or a butterfly and off they go. Their minds move in mysterious ways! :-)

And to you too! I just found...The Story under a pile of things on my desk. I kind of lost a bit of momentum - but it *is* moving along, if slowly. (Not that you have a problem with slowly *g*). So don't forget about B&D - it's all waiting there in the wings... ;-)

Good to hear from you, too! (KC told me you were going to email me about the stuff you left here a while back, but if you did I never got them. I was having big email problems for a while - everything legitimate getting dumped into spam - and perhaps they were a casualty of that... I think it's fixed now.)

Thanks, though I'm kind of hoping my next shows are less exciting! *g* The horses are very...consuming. And fulfilling. Though also a huge source of anxiety; they are such delicate creatures. It's nice having a Bodie - it kind of inserts a secret bit of fannishness into my horsey world!
