A sad day

It's been kind of a rough month, and I guess bad things come in packages: my father-in-law died this morning. I seldom talk about this kind of thing in my LJ, but I think this merits an exception, because he was a remarkable man, and his life, and accomplishments, were so amazing. It sounds like he was indeed a remarkable man. Please extend my condolences to Mr. Justacat. And again I'm sorry you're having such a rough period. Here's hoping things get better soon.

I am glad that your father in law is off on his next grand adventure. He sounds like a great man. My deepest sympathies for you, Mr. J, and all those he left behind.
