well well well.. 2004 has officially come to a close.. there's something nice about starting a new year.. scary because you don't know what mishaps and negative things it will bring.. but good because if the year before sucked.. theres hope that a new one will be better.. and that's what i'm hoping ( Read more... )

good for you in regards to the shoutout to your AHA girls. i dont care WHO disagrees, but the only girls you will ever truly be able to count on are the girls who've known you for many years, whom you went to grammar, middle or high school with. they're the ones who've seen you through it all and seen you GROW into the person you are. college friends go to parties with you, maybe they learn about what your life has been like, but they didn't LIVE that with you. your true girls, your old friends, have seen the entire growth and maturation from child to adult, college friends only experience the finished product. your old friends witnessed the process, and were there to pick up the pieces along the way.

this is why my high school girls are my number 1's. that doesnt mean i can't love new friends, but they must understand that they will always be in 2nd place in some way. my one best friend and i have been there for eachother since age 5, the other since freshman and soph year of high school.

very very true!.. thats what pisses me off about sororities.. its like ur not sisters! these girls are more like sisters and i didn't have to pay for them! but yea its true.. these girls have been there through so much.. we only met freshman year.. but thats when you really start growing up.. so in a sense, we did grow up together.. you can't beat a bond like that! <3

You hit the nail right on the head about doing things for you this year, not for anybody else, not for any guy (most of whom are assholes with a few exceptions), or for your parents, but for YOU.

You keep mentioning the exercise thing, well, like I've been saying, come to the gym with me! I'm there every night, I'll work with you to help you get to whereever it is you need to be. Thats what friends are for babe, always.
