World Cup info

Getting into the World Cup, but don't know who's playing when? Stay abreast of the matches at FIFA's website. Games are usually aired live in the mornings/early afteroons here in CA, on ESPN, ESPN2, and ABC (check listings). Too bad the US got toasted :-( I'm pulling for an Argentina v. Brazil final matchup, would be a really fun game to watch I think :)

it is every american's god given right to hate soccer. Unless it's the world cup. Then it's like being an angel's fan! ;) heh

I hope you can pick out sarcasm vs. being mean.

anyway, the world cup did excite me last time. I was in england tho getting free beer from my cousin and her friends cause england got to the finals....but that had NOTHING to do about it.

It is every American's god-given right to not be a soccer fan because American television does not broadcast soccer.

Why? Because commercial breaks every 45 minutes just will not do. Soccer is too fast-paced to chop up into 100 neat little commercial breaks.

My point is, this isn't your average ignorant American's fault---it's your average greedy American corporation's fault. BURN THEM ALL!
