Taylor Hicks may well be the most unique and, yes the most talented, AI contestant ever to appear on American Idol. Great review! This was the first year I watched Idol, and it was all because of the gray haired guy we spotted during the auditons!

Thanks, Caren: Isn't it amazing how many Americans have made this very statement? I have watched every season, but I have only voted a few times (for Clay Aiken) and I have NEVER become so obsessed with anyone on the show as I have with Taylor and he caught my eye/ear during the auditions as well. I am just so delighted that the rest of America saw what I did and made him the winner.
