Well...couldn't that be a good thing? Like, you just ensured that your region will be safe from snow for the foreseeable future! (and most of it will help if you get stranded for any reason, not just snow. Mudslides, typhoons, earthquakes...)

It would indeed be a good thing, upon reflection. Also, I remember my dad having a blanket just like the ones I ordered in the trunk, and many picnics ensuing. :D
