Fred and I have been in the Virgin Islands for spring break, since Monday. The weather has been ideal. We watch the reports of snow back home and then look out the sliding glass doors to Caribbean blue water and palm trees blowing in the wind

There's a kayak store in Ames or Des Moines that gives kayaking lessons. Matt and I took them one winter....the guy teaches you how to roll in a swimming pool. If you take the class, you get a deal on a kayak.
