Therefore, they should be punched, so that they get knocked out and cannot hurt people.

If you would count a person who was once a living human and is now technically deceased as a ghost, then there are ghosts, too.
For monsters, I suppose a lot depends on your definition of it...

Of course, as far as I know, the curses don't have anything to do with those.
