Christmas Morning!handsomejackDecember 25 2008, 03:59:21 UTC
At some point in the night, Jack had snuck from the bed and very carefully left little gifts on Kyle and Ianto's pillows.
Jack came from a time when Christmas wasn't celebrated anymore and so the holiday was a bit alien to him but he'd learned over the years how to give little tokens and that's what he left tonight.
On Kyle's pillow was a small, simply simply wrapped package. No real fanfare, sort of a homage to a simpler time in life. Also, neatly tucked away in a little stocking were some handmade -not by Jack thank God!- classic sugar plums and candy canes.
A card was tucked in the ribbon wrapped around the gift.
Merry Christmas, Kyle.
I'm sorry I couldn't wrap and deliver Warren to you this year, I hope these little tokens will do instead. Remember that you have people here who love and care about you, you're not alone.

Kyle, on the other hand, had slipped his gift to Jack into the pocket of his greatcoat. Small and tasteful, but hopefully suitable replacements for the ones Jack had lost.

For one I adore.
Love, Kyle
He figured Jack would find them at some point the next day.

I had a date tonight. Did Ianto tell you? Because I did.

[huffed sigh]
No, he didn't tell me. If you're just getting home now, it must have been a good date.

The curse extended. Warren is still here. And he's...
I have to find Thelma. Now.

He hurt Thelma. And he will kill her.

There is an echo behind his voice, someone is down in a tunnel ... shock, I know.
