bad news

So I found out a few weeks ago that my sister-in-law has breast cancer. They thought they'd found it early and she underwent a full mastectomy. They thought they'd got it all and were waiting for the biopsy results. Turns out it was two major tumours as well as multiple spider tumours which have spread to her lymph glands and possible elsewhere.

hey darls, I work for the National Breast Cancer Foundation, so I know how horrible the disease is :(
But doctors these days are amazing and the mortality rate for breast cancer has dropped by a huge 22% in the last 10 years (!), so your sister has a much bigger chance of making it through!
