Becky, you are my HERO. Er, heroine. Those gun charms are fabutastic, but I will content myself with flailing with you at the office once we've both read it.

Sarah

PS. Your cats are ADORABLE.

But I am your sidekick! Kind of. An intern is definitely a relative of a sidekick. I'm am way too excited to have someone excitedly glee with about the books in person. We should have a mock sword battle in the office...except, I know little to nothing when it comes to such things.

Then you are the sidekick of a sidekick, because as an assistant (and a temporary one!) I am definitely a sidekick too.

I'd ask Kathleen about mock sword battles: I seem to recall seeing a photo of her battling Meredith at some point.

Yes! We create a chain of sidekicks. I am a baby sidekick. You are the trained sidekick.

Oh, I recall this as well! I remember seeing it on Twitter.

Alan and Mae. I am dying to read about them in the third book. Both in terms of Alan and Mae and Alan/Mae.

*stares at kitties and gun charms*

Kitties and guns: the combination no one sees coming until it's much too late.

Approval for what you're excited about! I am looking forward to Mae and Alan as well. (And Nick. And Jamie. Most excited about Jamie. He makes me all sorts of happy.)

You officially get to have a gun charm (but neither of my kitties)! Please contact me at RebeccaCYeager (at) gmail with your address.

One day, I'll find time to read things.

But I definitely read "They also have a habit of completely distracting me with their wiles." with [willies] the first time through. Good thing you've got a bird named Willy. Gosh, Tom and Indi are so tiny.

Yes. One day, when spare time exists again, you should read TDL.

You're going to make Willy feel insignificant because he never gets to pose with books. Then again, it's his own fault. He likes to chew on paper, and newspaper linings have given him the wrong impression about the proper use of books.

Really excited to continue being in the characters' worlds. I love them so much and am SO excited about getting the last book!

(Who could resist? Especially Dean. He's ADORABLE.) Have you entered any of the giveaways for a copy of the book? o: There's a few being hosted in honor of this week. Fingers crossed that you'll get to read it soon, or at least before the online chat with Sarah.

My cats find the photography they must necessarily endure.

The UK cover of The Demon's Surrender is gloriously shiny. So. Pretty.
