Most of my old journals are retarded quizes and me feeling sorry for myself.

The fact is, if you went back and looked at what you said at a previous point in your life, most of the time you will feel like a jackass. That's the point of living and growing. People change their opinions, and whether for better or for worse, that's what eventually makes a person who he or she is later in life.
