I have been thinking about how I should have answered a question that was posed to me yesterday and there were so many other things I could of said instead of my answer that was meet with reticule. Sweetheart, life is not easy; no one ever said it was. All you can do is your best. You are not born knowing all the answers that life gives us. People try and fall on their faces; but you pick yourself up and try again. We are not born with parenting skills. We all make mistakes and hopefully learn from them. Children also make mistakes. Keep talking to them, with them; not at them. Listen to them. Agree or not; but also tell them what you are trying to do to make life better and that you also need help from them. Let them know that you cannot be their for them all times; but you try and their help and patience; plus their support is very important to you. Remember, too, Mom loves and supports any decision you make; but please take care of yourself, first. If you don't then neither you or your kids have a chance.
